Charlotte, a trans woman in her mid-20s, moves in with her grandmother Mamie. Over the course of one tense evening, Charlotte hides her hormone injections, fearing Mamie’s reaction. But Mamie, observant and increasingly suspicious, begins to pry into Charlotte’s private life. When Mamie discovers the truth, the two are forced into a confrontation shaped by love, fear, and generational divide. Faced with each other’s realities, Charlotte and Mamie must decide whether understanding is possible, or if their differences will push them apart.
