When instructors use AOM individually, each person sees their own class results in isolation. An institutional plan connects those results across your school, so you can see patterns: which topics resonate with your student population, how outcomes compare across departments, and how engagement changes over time. That shared knowledge makes everyone better at using the platform.
The practical benefits stack up too. Institutional pricing drops the per-person cost significantly. Your school's branding appears on marketing materials, registration pages, and evaluation pages. And department-level organization means each area of your school can manage its own classes while still contributing to the bigger picture.

How schools get there

When 10 or more people at the same school are subscribed individually, we reach out to let everyone know the school could benefit from a shared plan. We track subscriptions by email domain, and when the threshold is hit, two things happen: the subscribers at your school get a celebratory email, and we connect with the right person at the school to talk through the institutional option.
And also, if an institutional account is right for your school, you don't have to wait for that threshold. Any school can start an institutional plan at any time by emailing support@artopeningminds.org.

What the plan includes

Everything individual subscribers already have, plus:

• Department-based organization. Each department gets its own admin who can manage instructors, view department-level data, and coordinate scheduling.
• Shared outcome data. A school-wide admin dashboard with cross-campus evaluation results, so you can see how AOM is landing across your entire student body.
• Your school's branding. Your logos on marketing materials, registration pages, and evaluation pages. Everything students see is co-branded with your institution.
• Lower per-instructor cost. Pricing is tiered by seat count (see below), and the per-person cost drops significantly.

• 11-25 seats: $720/year
• 26-50 seats: $1,200/year
• 51-100 seats: $1,800/year

What happens to existing individual subscriptions?

If people at your school were already individual subscribers, they won’t lose anything. Their class history and evaluation data will carry over. We also add up all the remaining subscription time across every individual subscriber at your school and convert it to a dollar-value credit on the school's first institutional invoice so you are not paying twice for any instructors.

Tips & Notes

• The institutional upgrade doesn't change anything about how instructors use the platform. Classes, evaluations, and materials all work the same way. The upgrade adds coordination and visibility on top of what individual instructors already have.
• If you're an individual subscriber who wants to make the case for an institutional plan at your school, the evaluation data from your own classes is your best evidence. Run a few classes, share the results, and let the outcomes speak for themselves.
