Inviting Colleagues and the Referral Credit System

    ~3m

If you've run a class, you probably already have someone in mind who would love this. Maybe it's the counselor down the hall, or the residence life coordinator who's always looking for programming ideas, or the colleague who keeps saying "we need to do more around mental health." AOM was built to spread exactly this way — one person telling someone else.

    How the referral system works

    1. Share your invite link. You'll find it in your account dashboard. Send it however feels natural — email, text, Slack, or just tell them about it and send the link later.
    2. They try a free class. Your colleague signs up through your link and runs their first class, completely free, just like yours was.
    3. They subscribe. Once they decide to keep going at $74/year, your subscription is automatically extended by one month.
That’s it! In your dashboard you’ll see your extended subscription date and the name of the person who subscribed so you can thank them yourself.

    What you get

One month added to your subscription for every person who subscribes through your link. We'll email you when someone you invited completes their free class and again when your subscription is extended.

    Tips & Notes

    • When you refer someone, be sure to use your personal invite link rather than just sharing the AOM website so the referral gets tracked to you.
    • You can see your current subscription end date (including any extensions) in your billing dashboard.
    • Think beyond your department. The person most likely to love AOM might be someone you'd never think of as a "mental health person" — an academic advisor, an athletics coordinator, a Greek life director. Anywhere students show up and someone is trying to reach them.
